Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti] Romania). She was the first person to reach a flawless 10 during an Olympic celebration. Bela Karalyi discovered Comaneci when she was six. Later, she would be Romania's gymnastics coach. She first competed at the national junior championships in Romania in the year 1969, she finished 13th. In 1970, she won. At her first international contest in 1972, she took the top spot having won three golds. At her first competition as a senior in 1975 she bested the Russian Lyudmila Turishcheva who was a five-time European champion, winning four gold and one silver medal. She was the first female ever to successfully perform a backwards double salto when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She started her career in the entertainment industry as a teenager in which she was a part of the figure skating duo of the sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th of September, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol entered the entertainment industry in her teens. She started her career performing figure skating with Nina Wayne, her younger sister in one of the touring entertainment shows Ice Capades. Ice Capades showcased performances of ice-skating with actors.
