Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her roles as lead actress on a number of TV shows, and also for her powerful performances in movies. Both Canadian and American TV are fans of Emily Irene VanCamp. When Emily was 12, she began to become interested in acting after she visited her elder sister Katie at the location of one of her movies. When Emily realized her love for acting, she began acting classes and attended auditions. At first, she was able to land a couple of commercials, and then was included in the Canadian children's horror television series Are You Are You Afraid of the Dark? The only thing she was in was a silent one. At the age 15, she made her breakthrough after she became a regular on the WB series Glory Days. Emily's performances caught the attention to Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then made her a part of his television show Everwood. Emily has also been a dancer, a photographer and was named one of Teen's top 20 actors. Maxim ranked her 51st on its Hot 100 of 2014.
